Introduction 

Gender-responsive urban design is an essential approach to creating inclusive, safe, accessible, resilient, and equitable cities that respond to the diverse needs of women, men, girls, boys, older persons, persons with disabilities, and other urban communities. Gender-Responsive Urban Design Training Course provides practical knowledge and strategic tools for integrating gender equality, social inclusion, universal accessibility, participatory planning, and human-centered design into urban development. Participants will explore gender-sensitive urban planning, public space design, mobility, housing, infrastructure, safety, climate resilience, digital technologies, and community engagement while examining how urban environments can either reduce or reinforce social inequalities.
